​The Chain O' Lakes Festival Committee recognized our nation’s semi quincentennial by thanking the veterans of our community. In 2026, in lieu of a traditional grand marshal, the Committee chose to honor the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces who call this area home. Their bravery has ensured the enduring independence we enjoy today, 250 years strong. The Chain O' Lakes Festival and community celebrated the stars and stripes on the square as a thank you to our veterans for their service and sacrifice.
